We have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor based at our Head Office in Crewe to join our Payroll Team. This is a critical role within the Finance Team, taking the lead in delivering a high standard payroll service to a high number of employees, and ensuring all statutory payroll and pension reporting is completed accurately and on time. 

Roles and responsibilities include: 

  • Supporting the Payroll Manager to lead a small payroll team
  • Processing and administration of the largest corporate stores payroll
  • Supporting our Payroll Administrators and Assistant with internal payroll queries
  • Involvement in ongoing payroll projects
  • Management and processing of third party and court order payments

Job Requirements

The Successful Applicant: 

Ideally, you will have a strong background in payroll, working within a fast paced, high volume environment and will be looking for an opportunity to develop your career. You will have an extensive working knowledge of all payroll and pension processing, particularly auto enrolment, being able to demonstrate a proven track record of ensuring attention to detail and delivering a high standard of accuracy within tight timescales.

You will be adaptable to the needs of a fast growing business whilst maintaining professionalism and work well in a team. You will have good Excel skills, and a strong interest in process improvement. 

CIPP or equivalent qualifications would be an advantage.
